The temperature values specified in the standards (severity levels) are limited by the highest and lowest test space temperature. The choice of the appropriate test system depends on the temperature change rates during alternating tests. The requirements are met if the test system capacity is large enough to compensate for the influence of the specimen and its heat dissipation in the relevant capacity range.
